Parvez Rasool, who just made his T20I debut for India with the first of the three-match T20 series against England in Kanpur. Young cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir had made his One-Day International debut for India during an ODI against Bangladesh at Mirpur on June 15, 2014.
But, very soon he came under strong criticism on social media for insulting the National Anthem during first T20 International between India and England, on January 26.
Cricket fans and many Indians were irked with the Jammu and Kashmir cricketer after he was caught chewing gum on camera while the rest of the Indian Team and people in cricket stadium were standing in attention as the National Anthem was being played.
Many people criticized for his disrespct towards national anthem and felt that the off-spinner doesn’t deserves a place in the India squad.

If #parvezrasool can’t sing India’s national anthem, chews gum while it’s being played, why should he wear India’s jersey?
