Vidyut Jammwal and Adah Sharma starring action packed movie “Commando 2: The Black Money Trail” has collected over Rs 5. crore on its opening day at the box office, the makers claimed.
Film’s Producer Vipul Shah has said the cast and crew are really happy with its opening. The film has crossed it’s prequel film Commando: A One Man Army collection on the opening day, which earlier colelcted Rs 3.69 crore on it’s first day.
As the film got the solo release this week, the film was released on 2200 screens in India.
“It’s opened bigger and better than so many big star cast films, and that shows the level of acceptance of the film and Vidyut. It’s very difficult to surpass the expectations in a sequel. Commando 2 seems to have done that and the audience is really enjoying the film. We all are extremely happy that the film has opened so well,” producer Vipul Shah said in a statement.
“#Commando2 Fri ₹ 5.14 cr. India biz… Hindi + Tamil + Telugu versions,” tweeted trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
